How Often Do Corn Snakes Shed?

I couldn't find a straight answer so here I am!

How often do corn snakes normally shed? I had hear 4-5 times a year, but my guy shed in September and today when I took him out for his shot, HE IS BLUE! I was so surprised! He's only just starting to turn-- he can still see and though he's mostly been sleeping, he's pretty active now that I had to take him out.

Thanks for the insight everybody ^_^

Also I'm worried because I will have to handle him during his shedding process, he is not quite done with his rounds of shots... There are two more left to go

Handling them during shedding for quick look overs (and shots!) is not going to be bad. When I got my very first corn I didn't even know I wasn't supposed to handle him in blue. Each snake is different, and I have noticed that some of mine shed way more in summer versus winter even though feeding and temps are the same. As long as the sheds are good and he is eating well, I would say he's a normal guy :)
