How will my gold dust develope?

I realize that there is a vast amount of variation between individual snakes. However, I was just curious if somebody who is more experienced with gold dusts could help me out.

From what I understand, caramel basically turns the reds and browns into shades of yellow. And when I look at older gold dusts, they are almost entirely shades of yellows. My gold dust is still only a couple months old, so he hasn't developed much of his yellow color. But he still seems a bit darker than other juvenile gold dusts that I have seen.

Does that mean he will develop into a truer golden color, rather than the goldenrod shade that a lot of older gold dusts seem to be?

Here are a few pics for reference.

The color in your pictures was hard to make out but I would say yes you will develop more yellow as it grows. It will still retain some of the dark black borders around the saddles. But in general the appearance will be golden or yellow.

I've only raised 4 golddusts (3 babies and their father), but even though they have slight variations in shades, they all went through the same changes as shown in the example golddust I posted (middle-of-the-road coloration). One has a slightly richer gold color than the others and the other is a shade lighter, but it's difficult to say from your photos which of my babies closest resembles yours.
