Hubby's New Puppy

Well...we have another new addition. My husband is insanely jealous that my chihuahua loves me more than him, so we've been talking about getting another dog just for him. He really loves Bostons and miniature schnauzers and has been looking for one of those without any luck...until yesterday when we saw an ad for Boston/schnauzer mix puppies...the best of both worlds. He brought home this sweet little mutt yesterday afternoon. So far he's unnamed, but that should change soon. He has the legs, body, and smooth coat of a Boston (and he farts like one too...lol), but he has a few wavy hairs on the back of his neck and the long snout like a schnauzer. And he only weighs about 3 lbs. He's soooooo cute. It's gonna be hard for me to let him be "Daddy's boy", but I already promised. :(

Thanks. :) I can't wait to see what he looks like as he grows. I wonder if his coat might change a little. So far he's a very good puppy. He only woke us up twice last night.

I have to admit, the first glance if that puppy immeadiately made me go 'AWWWWWWW!'

My dog, My WORLD, is turning 12 this year, in november, and I've been REALLY wanting to get another puppy. I'm not exactly sure why. I dont know if it's to get my mind off the enevitable fact that my dog is getting old, or if I some how think a puppy will make him feel younger... who knows...

But what I DO know is your adorable little guy just fueled my wanting even more!

I bet he's het for all kinds of stuff. I have my doubts about the concentration of schnauzer blood. But the horrible farting proves the Boston part without a doubt. If you've ever been around a Boston for more than a few minutes, you know what I'm talking about. :grin01:

I didn't see his litter mates, but my husband said he was the cutest, and he was the only one with the white toes and chest blaze. From the front he looks like a teeny tiny lab puppy, but he's bowlegged and has the butt of a Boston. :D

Okay so now I'm in lurrvee. He is an absolute sweet heart I want one I want one. I WANT ONE !!!! :crazy02:

very very sweet! I had the same problem with my puppy - my father (who didn't want her!) has taken her over and made her his dog. She sits in his lap (and she weighs 80 pounds!) and licks his face while he tells her he doesn't like her and he never wanted her.... right... he hates her guts...

Can we see big brother/sister??? :crazy02:

Do you mean my dog? My precious baby boy? Wellll....if you insist... :D

This is my Tito. He's 2-1/2 years old. We paid big bucks for a longhair teacup chihuahua. Our 1lb puppy turned into a 9.5lb tank. I suppose you'd call that a "Texas Teacup". :grin01:
