I'm trying to find out the proper humidity for a baby corn. I have 2 separate hides in my little guy's cage, and one that I try to keep relatively humid. However, for overall cage humidity, I've seen a range from 20% to 50%. I've seen most folks saying around 30% or so. You guys seem to be the final answer on it, so I'm curious.

On top of that, I frequently have to mist the vivarium, as it frequently drops below 20%...how do y'all keep the humidity up?
 
Humidity really isn't an issue for Corns. I live in a centrally heated flat in the UK and I very rarely see bad sheds. If you mist, you can actually create a damp problem, so in your shoes, I wouldn't do that.

If you're concerned, put a humid hide in the viv when your guy goes blue leading up to a shed. He then has a controlled higher humidity mini-environment, that he can use if he needs to.
 
I would echo that if the snake doesn't have any problems shedding, you don't need to worry about humidity at all.

If you DID need to raise the humidity around shedding time, there are various ways. As bitsy suggested a humid hide is perfect, but you can also mist or move the water bowl slightly closer to the warm side of the viv.

Again, don't worry too much if the baby sheds without problem (check the tail tip and eye caps have come off every time and you're good to go!).
