Hurricane Ike

It's stuck in VA in my yard.
Wow...it wasn't that bad out here. We live out west some so it wasn't too bad...there were definitely road closures though - Loudoun doesn't have the best drainage system for the roads. There's a stream running through our backyard now and I had to bring the plants in from the deck so they didn't drown but that's about it.

As for Ike...I hope he misses you guys down there by a lot...hopefully he won't go into the Gulf as a Category 4 either...

Ouch, that looks like pretty heavy rainfall, you didn't plan on having a pool in the yard, did you? :eek:

I hope everyone stays safe with the storms/hurricanes and that they all turn out to be less severe than anticipated :)

That was just after 9 in the AM, it stopped raining and I could see the grass(without water) just before it got dark tonight. I do live on the low side of the street. Inconvenient, but not nearly like a flood or what they're dealing with down south.

All we got was just a wind and sunny.
I wish Everyone in Florida a luck with Ike.
