Hybrid Snakes

Lyion

~♪Sorry and Thanks♪~
I'm fascinated with hybrid snakes (I mean the offspring of different speicies of snakes), whether it be Wall Pythons or Creamsicles. Here's a post to discuss or share hybrid snakes.

I think Hybrids are beautiful, too, especially Milk hybrids. I might get one someday just as a pet.
I do love a good Wall Python, but I heard they can be a pain...

I think as far as the python hybrids go, I'd have to say the Carpondros or the Comas are my favorite.

Although I'm not necessarily particularly interested in owning one, I think there are some really cool and neat looking hybrids! Oddly enough, in cornsnakes I tend to prefer the look of "perfect" and "symmetrical" patterns, not aberrant ones (I'm not a fan of zig zags or tessera really). But in hybrids I prefer to see the crazy wild patterns and colors.

Yep, I love my hybrids. I need to get some updated pics. I've got quite a few now. Let's see...

0.5 Nelson's/Corn (two totally different looking amels, one anery, two normals - I'm hoping one turns out to a surprise male, lol)
2.1 Super Pueblacorn (all normals, het for amel)
1.0 Pueblacorn (unrelated to the SPC trio, no known hets yet)
1.0 Bairdi/Corn
1.1 Cali/Ruthven/Thayeri (het lav albino, I think)
1.1 Super corns (supposedly have bitchin' hets but I have no faith in the source they came from)
0.1 Jungle
1.1 Beasts (black rat/corn)
1.0 Texas bullsnake/corn
0.2 Gopher/corn

I'm reallly interested in the corn/milks! I wonder how the scales work with them...

Don't like em' and especially don't like that some breeders don't disclose that they are selling hybrids. A lot of people don't realize that rootbeers and creamcycles are hybrids and think they are getting a pure cornsnake. That's the worst part...and then breeding what would never actually occur in the wild...just wrong IMO.
