Cohabbing is cruelty...
My husband and I were on our way to work this morning (about a half hour ago to be exact) when he slams on the brakes and yells out "A snake in the road! He's gonna get swished!". So I leap out of the car and sure enough, there was a garter snake in the middle of the road. It struck at me so I ran back to the car to get something to sheild my hands with. Meanwhile my husband leaps out of the car strips off his shirt and is dancing around in the middle of the street trying to catch this thing!! My husband is a middle aged man so modest he won't take off his shirt at the BEACH!! Finally he traps it in his shirt, I find a plastic grocery bag and we dump both snake and shirt in the bag and drive off. We let the snake go in a woody area on the way to work. My husband got his shirt back, unmusked and uncrapped on. We were late but it was worth it.
My husband won't touch MY snakes. He says they give him the eye and want to bite him. To see him dancing around shirtless in the street to save a garter...all I could see was Steve Irwin saying "Danger! Danger! Crikey this is a feisty one!" The spirit lives on!

Very cool!!! You just brightened my day! Hooray for snake savers and husbands caring about snakes!
