I made a promise to my girlfriend that I wouldn't buy anymore snakes until next spring.

I bought this lil girl from Don Soderberg. She is an Ultramel het Caramel het Charcoal. She is worth any trouble that I get into.:)

She's gorgeous! Just say your snakes had a baby and you didn't know they were gravid...you were cohabitating and they bred by accident. That's the story!!
 
I would go with playing stupid...

"huh? Wha? No I've always had that snake. It has sat there forever. SEE!!! You just don't take enough interest in the things that I like! You never care about what I enjoy!"

and then walk away like you are crushed. Who knows it might work. :)

I may just make a list of excuses and read it til she believes one.
 
You could tell her, if she notices the new baby, "Thanks for ruining your Christmas surprise!!"
 
Or you could start hinting right now for a Christmas Snake for yourself. Tell her your friends all get them!

lol good idea Nanci. Although it is the season for brumating, but his gf may not know that unless you told her dude lol. If I were to put mine together, My male may eat the Female lol. One is 8 and the other is 1 1/2 lol.

What a cute little one ya got there.

How about... you found her in the container your previous one came in..the breeder messed up and you got a 2 for 1 special. OR say that someone on here sent her to you for your birthday. We will vouch for ya.;)
 
Of course, you could just say you are keeping it for someone who doesn't have room for it at the moment. Had a couple of friends who did that with a couple of horses...they were keeping it for the other person... so they told their husbands. Fortunately for them, their husbands didn't know each other :)
