Reptilian Goddess
So I just got back to my humble abode after the fantastic sactown reptile show. It was sooo much fun! I went last year and I believe this year was better! I was gunning for a new corn of the hypo-lav or butter-mot persuasion and they were there (and in my price range!) but I suddenly fell in love with this tiny coiled precious children's python.

You know when you hold a snake and it's instant connection? Well, she has me under her spell and and I couldn't be happier! I snapped a quick shot after I put her in her new tank (she wasn't exactly thankful) and now I'm watching her from my bed crawl around and explore thanks to the sneaky red-glow heat lamp. *Sigh*

Oh! Her name is Aurelia after a genus of moon jelly that our invertebrate zoology class has been studying on the coast. It's pretty and girly and fits her perfectly. :D

Great pic (but I hope to see MANY more)! I've read up a little on them. The seem to be a really interesting species. Congrats on the find!!!

BTW, Aurelia is also the name of a song that my wife and I had played to the congregation just before our wedding. LOL.

KUDOS!

Congrats, you will love her. I have an '07 male who is pretty awesome as well. They feel so sleak and velvety smooth... more so than corns I think.
