Different lighting = different colors

Taking a moment here to punk this thread with two photos.
First is without flash, yellow-pink wavelength incadescent light bulbs, reflecting color off of earthtone-painted walls. Note the pinkish hues of the anerys.

Second photo is using flash.
The only difference is the lighting.

That's one thing that annoys me about pictures is how the light is reflected. Who knows, maybe once I see them all in person I'll change my mind. But every time I think about getting one of the other 3, it's almost like I miss the anery. I like dark snakes too. And I love stripes. I think this is the snake for me.

But in your first one, I can also see the pink hues in the white background and in the moss, so I would know that the colors in that photo were not a true representation. If I were to base a purchase based on that one photo, I would be putting it in my photo software and making adjustments to determine if the anerys were truly that pink.

And also, some pink hues can be washed out under certain lighting conditions, such as with a flash.

I got my new snakey today! If you want to see some pictures of him, I am about to make him a progression thread in the photo gallery. Come check him out. :)
