Hey guys! i got my 9 week old baby corn snake! he is in his new cage and loves it tons! he likes the warm side alot more!...i dont know the morph...i can not get the pic to load...i have it reduced in size, and uploaded on photobucket..how do i do it?

Well if it's loaded onto photobucket all you have to do is select the link below the uploaded picture that appears within the
tags and put it in your post!
CONGRATS!

Well it's kind hard to tell because the picture is so small, but I'm going to assume he's a classic corn untill I see a larger one. Does he have belly checkers?

Looks like..

Looks like our missing okeetee eden..where do you live again? LOL just kidding. Bet you can't stop staring at the li'l guy either, waiting for him to check it all out. I still can't help pestering them with excitement.

a few more pics!

I am staring at him wanting to mess with him soo much! lol...did you know they feed the corns once every 2 weeks...is that right?...anywho here are better pics...i have no clue what type lol...i bet you all are right!:D:D:D

he is soooo cute!, the temps are reading 80 on wamr side 73 on cool...and the humidity is about 47-50 is this all right? and am i correct they DO NOT need a UV light?

Looks like an okeete to me. :) Congrats!

Warm side should be 80-88 on the warm side (85 preferred) on the hottest POSSIBLE spot(glass.) (You are using an UTH right?.)

Cool side is fine (Room temp)

Humidity is good, corn snakes aren't picky about that. It doesn't hurt to mist his viv when he is in shed.

ya..i am using a UTH..his water is room temp too...now when should i feed him..he pry has not eaten in 2 weeks...they feed the baby corns once every 2 weeks...he seems calms and okay..how many days should i wait to feed him?

that was just a maintaining feed many people do that in petshops/breeders i think you would be better off giving him a pinky every 4-5 days

Too much black throughout, not enough black BORDERS to be an Okeetee.

Nice looking Normal/Classic, imo. Congrats on the acquire. They're like tater chips...you can't stop at just one.

It's probably just his time to shed. They'll typically shed once a month, sometimes as much as twice a month.

Once he's done, you'll probably want to inspect the shed (and your snake) and make sure that the very tip of his tail and eyecaps all came off.

Good luck. :)

okay..thanks-so then he is healty and well...i was just worried...um also when should i feed him?...he pry has not eaten in like 2 weeks...but i know he is stressed so how long should i wait...thanks again guys!:D...very helpful forum

If you got him yesterday, I'd give him another 2-3 days to settle in, then try a 'smaller than normal' size prey item to minimize stress.

Edit: I'm curious...do you know why they only feed every two weeks? If your baby is 9 weeks old, he should probably be eating every five days. Every 7 at the most, imo.
