I sexed all of his babies b ecause he didn't have a probe...
Oh, and it was funny.. my mom got lost because she told me he lived at house #140 when it was #104, so we drove for an hour and then I had to walk around the neighborhood looking for the house... in the COLD! It was 0 degrees BTW!!

Congrats Paulina! Those are very pretty anerys (I'm 99.9346% sure that they're not ghosts). I like the look-- especially the "ring-necked" one.

It's nice that you got them after they were past the tiny, delicate, hatchling stage. They should do well for you. :)

Thanks Dean! The dad was a ghost so maybe it's a LITTLE bit possible they're ghosts... or they took the look of the dad and are just anerys.. either way I love them! They remind me of Snow sooo much.
And yes, the ring necked one is the female.. she's the biggest and the one that explores the most...

It's a possibility that they're ghosts, but that would mean that the normal mother would have been het for amel, anery, AND hypo. This is by no means unlikely-- hypo's a pretty common het. But they look like anerys to me. For HA-HAs, here's a pic of an anery and a ghost from a clutch that I hatched last summer. They are only a week or so old in these shots.

Tough call as to whether they are ghosts or anerys. I agree with Dean that they don't look like many of the ghost hatchlings I have had hatch out, but they do seem very light to be "just" anerys. The ground color is very light and the grey is very uniform in color on both...no darker saddle bands that you usually see in anerys. They remind me of Rich's silver queen ghosts which tend to be more a light grey and not the "pink" that Dean and I are more familiar with in ghosts. It would be nice to see a comparison to the definite anery you say was in the clutch.
