I have a pipper!

Thanks everyone! Yeeeeees, at least one little Snow is peeking there. :D I hope to get another one or two of them, but I'll be happy with even the one. lol. Still hasn't hatched yet, though, just peeking. A couple of my others have hatched.....2 amels and a normal. However, the little normal has me worried. It popped out of the egg and still had a tiny bit of it's yolk attached! :shrugs: Has anyone else seen this...and will it be ok if so? It's acting fairly alert and normal, lots of tongue flicking and normal movement.

It will _probably_ fall off just fine. I would put him on damp paper towel and not disturb him. And try to not bother the others too much- you don't want them abandoning their eggs before the egg stem is absorbed completely. I had this happen with two babies- less, though, and it was completely gone, like undiscoverable with a fine toothed comb!!! 12 hours later.

Ok, awesome. Thanks a bunch, Nanci. I'll keep an eye on the little tyke and do as you suggested. :) I actually don't disturb the eggs at all, except to pick up the ones that have already hatched to be put into their containers. This little normal was already out when I went to check on everyone. Just a little rambunctious to get started I guess. :shrugs: :D I appreciate the help!

Thanks! :) Here are the other two amels that hatched with the rambunctious normal.

The calm one. Surprising, since all of my other amels are mini vipers. lol!

The untrusting one. Didn't try to flee, just wasn't too sure about me.
