Is it usual for my snake to much prefer the colder side of his Viv? He spends i'd say 90% of his time there.

Could it be because hes not used to having decent heating that hes just become accustomed to it?

Could it be that my TV is a bit on the close side to the warmer side of the Viv and he doesnt like the noise/flashing images.

Or am I worrying too much and just let him get on with it?

As long as you're sure the temperatures are where they need to be, he's got plenty of choices for hides, and everything else is pretty good - don't sweat it and your snake will decide what he wants. If you're concerned about the TV, try either moving it (maybe not an option), leaving it off for a while (say WHAT?), or obscuring the sight line between the TV and the Viv. I think Vern actually likes watching the TV as we often catch her raising up to allow a better view.
