I need of 2 baby corns! Can someone help please? Im planing on breeding them in the future so please not from the same clutch!

Hey, you're in Omaha. Sweet. Unfotunately, I don't have any hatchling corns, but I can suggest a few nice specialty shops.

The Lizard King at 63rd and Maple has some nice animals, and I have met the owners several times. I'd suggest checking them out.

Where in Omaha are you? I'm glad to see someone in my area on here, for once. I'm Downtown. Did you go to the Reptile Expo in October?

I missed it

I missed the reptile Expo. But I did manage to look up some snakes on the web. At Petcos and Petsmarts near me. I found two very good looking corns and I'm considering getting them :crazy02:

I work at one of those Petsmarts, but we don't sell snakes yet. :(

The Petco at 132nd and Maple (where I used to work) has some cute little hatchlings. You'll only find normals, amels, and snows, though.

wait

But I went to Petsmart yesterday and Its said that you guys are introducing corns and king snakes. Now I'm confused?

I need some help here!

I know you're anxious, but it is generally considered good forum etiquette to wait longer than two minutes before demanding answers!

here in lincoln, they get ghosts and hypos in with the usuals at both the Petsmart and petcos. Its to bad you didnt go to the expo, thats where i got my granite for $45. It's good to see people from Nebraska on the forums I was beginning to feel alone.

I hope you'll be a little more patient than this when it comes to raising these corns to breed, and to wait for the eggs......and all the other things that take time. You might try the cornsnake for sale section too.

Yes, some Petsmarts are doing a sort of "trial run" with snakes, usually corns and cali kings, but my particular store does not sell them. I believe the Petsmart at 72nd and Dodge does, though. But overall, very few Petsmarts actually have snakes for sale as of now.

I believe the next expo is in April, since I was told the expo was bi-annual?

I WISH I could spot a hypo or ghost at Petco, I've never even seen an anery!

Anywho, JGAust, keep in mind that even if you buy a pair of hatchlings to breed, you will need to wait 3 years before they'll be big enough. However, this will give you plenty of time to educate yourself on corns in general and breeding information. :santa:

As if there weren't enough bizarre things in my life this week, but if the owner's last name is Morrison, I'm gonna plotz. ;)
