I was going to try and pay him in babies and other animals, too stupid to understand that equates to him being able to sell more and possibly make more than what I owe him.

Though I always hope this won't be the case for me... friendships and money seem to not mix well.
I am friends with a big breeder over here and we help each other out constantly... and though none of us is signed in any form, I guess it's always possible for things to go sour... I sure hope not though.

I think that in such things it is better to have a contract with very definite terms, and also make sure that both sides put in the same level of effort- else one feels his efforts aren't being rewarded with the same effort from the other end...

It's a complicated thing.

I hope things will work out for you, Iv'e been hurt by people whom I considered friends and later backstabbed me...

Ryan, I remember you telling Tara and I about this situation back at MARS... it sucks just as bad now as it did then. It's so difficult to see what the future may hold... people we trust to do right by us don't, and people we never thought would be anything to us become everything overnight. I agree with Kathy, though.

After my ex-GF left me, I seriously considered getting rid of my snakes and other pets because all I could manage to do was lay around the house and work long hours. Thank God I waited to make that decision... all is well now, and I would have missed the critters once my mind made its way back to the real world!

Brumate them for the winter... see how you feel in the spring. You know there's a lot of us in the area, so moving them out shouldn't be an issue if you decide that is what you really want to do! Good luck!
 
OK, I have been taking all the advice given and have made a decision. I will hang onto what I have now, I plan on brumating as I always have done. It will be a little later than normal. In the spring I will take them all out, establish who is breeding to who. If someone does fit in a logical spot anymore I will do my best to move them out. If anyone has any rack systems in the local area(MD,VA,PA,DE) let me know, I could use some. Thanks for the support, I hope Ill be producing some cool animals for you guys this upcoming season.

Awesome Ryan! I can't wait to see what you produce next year! I will have to look at what you have! Maybe some bloodred morphs if ya got any!
 
As it stands right now here is what im expecting.

Amber bloods
Amber Stripes, and every other possible combination that can come out of breeding hets
Fires
Bloodreds
Hypo Blood reds
Ultra ghosts
Ghost bloods

A lot more Im sure but nothing is really to solid
