Actually, I did name him after the movie, cuz it was my favorite movie as a child. Yeah, I remember Artex the horse sinking. That part was so sad. :cry:

But the band Atreyu is pretty kewl. I've only heard one song from them, but from what I've heard, they rawk. :cool:
 
That's cool you adopted a snow! But I'm kind of sad for you not getting to adopt your baby you grew attached to. :shrugs: I bet soon you'll grow to love your new snow, though! I'd like a snow someday...*sigh*

Yeah when I saw the name 'Atreyu' I immediately thought of the band, but when I saw Artex I remembered the Never Ending Story. That part always made me cry when Artex sinks in the Swamps of Sadness. :*( Awesome names, though!

Well, I just hope that the one I didn't get went to a good, loving home. He deserves the best. But I do love my little Atreyu. He and I went for a drive when I first adopted him, and we spent some bonding time before I took him to my friends. I miss him, but my friends calls me to check in. She's a good baby sitter, and her husband is really good with him, too. :cheers:
 
Nope, it's 'Artex'. And the band named themselves after the film character, so either way, the name came from The Never Ending Story. That was my favorite movie growing up and when I finally got the DVD a few years back I discovered that I love it just as much in my 20s as I did when I was 10.
 
lol. My parents woulden let me get one
but then i told them everything i learned and stuff and i was going to get it anyway and just keep it in my bedroom cause noone goes in there but me. But eventually they gave up and now i have my baby corn snake Kade. :]

Come to an agreement with your mom. Ask her if you can hold the snake till a freind is able to take care of it for you.

I have a snow corn living with a couple friends of mine about 30-45 minutes north of me, and I go see them every Friday when I feed my little baby. He'll be staying there till I move out.
