Anyone know where I can get info on sepereating a 40 gallon breeder tank into 2 for my corns. I have 1.1 and want to keep them seperate after much debate, they are only hatchlings and i want to go ahead and sepereate them. Any info or links would be great, thanks, matt

Plexiglass is avaliable at most Home improvement centers as well as some hardware stores, and it not too hard to cut. Then use some silicone to set it place. When you decide to remove the divider the silicone will easily remove with a razor blade.

The plexi glass works great. Just make sure you cover up the hole that will be there at the top of the cage where the black plastic sticks out a little. You can cover that one of two ways. 1) Knotch the plastic so the plexi glass slides down or 2) knotch the plexiglass. By doing that the snakes can make their way around the top and drop into the other side. My one use to love to get between the plastic piece and the lid.

When my guys get bigger, I'm debating on whether to buy each one a 40 gal. breeder tank or one very large tank and split it in two.

Here's a pic of a four foot tank with an acrylic divider sheet in the middle. I measured the size I needed and ordered it from a local glass business. (around $ 10) and I used siicone to seal the edges. The silicone takes about 48 hours to dry. Each side is big enough for an adult corn, but right now I'm keeping some little ones in it.
