I’m pretty new to Herping and in the Tampa Bay area. I’ve been a few times with some friends but they’ve moved away and now I have no one to go with and have no idea where to go. Just wondering if anyone in the area would be willing to show me the ropes. I’ve been handling reptiles for years though, so that’s not a problem.

Welcome! There are plenty of Floridians here that could point you in the right direction. Do you have any snakes?

I did. I grew up owning corns and then got into other reptiles such as chams, bp, mali uros, beardies, geckos, kingsnakes..etc. But the hubby was going into the army a few years back and we had to down size ( they don't allow snakes on base). Just before he went in he hurt his back really bad and could no longer go in. So, I've decided to get back into corns and kings now that I know we aren't going any where. Just waiting for the next show. I hope someone could help. I'm all for going to other counties in Fl to herp, just don't know where to go and would like company. :)

Glad to see someone else with an interest in corns AND kings. Welcome to the forum.
