Oooo RO's are wnderful! That was my first snake and shes got the best personality. Not to encourage you of course...

If you get a container of Ice Breaker mints, the lid pops off and the container makes a great hide. It will also fit under your hide. This way, your snake get to feel more secure and you still get the look you want....all that AND fresh breath!

Congrats, Leonore!! Glad that you're all read up and prepared for your little one. Your setup looks awesome too!

Today is TUESDAY! Hope she arrives soon (because the wait is, indeed, FOREVER) so she can settle in a few days and we can see pics of her.

Congrats on the new baby. It looks like a nice set-up but I would be worried about the heat rock. Snakes can sometimes burn themselves on them. I have under the tank heaters on half the tank and a ceramic heat lamp above to warm the air, usually in the middle of the tank, so there are cool spots at the edges. That way they have lots of options. My 2 cents :)

Oh, and don't worry... I don't have a heat rock. It's just a fake plant that sticks out of a fake rock, but there is no heating element.
