I'm Going To Hamm!

Hey everyone

Well, it's official, I'll be going to Hamm on the 14th March to be at Terraristika, the Hamm Reptile Expo! I can't wait, and I'm allowed to bring back a reptile :D

Is anyone going this year? If so we'll have to meet up. :)

Does anyone have any past experiences they'd like to share with me?

Oh and one last question? What do you have to do if you're bringing a reptile from Germany into the UK, if you're flying by plane? Because I'm going with my Dad and we're flying with Easy Jet from Luton to Dortmund , and the ticket's only costing us £29.99 each.

All the best

David

Never been, But I have heard a couple of things,
You can never buy just ONE snake....you need to buy lots LOL
Another thing I heard is....Take lots of money because you are bound to run out,

And about the flying I am unsure, Don't think you can, Bur if you ask someone kind enough to bring back a reptile for you I'm sure they would.

If you go on RFUK they someone on there who does trips on coaches to hamm and back thats pretty cheep also they bring your reps back for you on the coach and they have not had any trouble so far, I think his username is tarantula barn,

JOEL

PS DAD THAT WAS A HINT ME WANNA GO :D

You will not be bringing back any live reptiles if you are flying there and back. It's against most airline policies.

The only way people going to Hamm can bring back reptiles into the UK is by ferry or by car, even then you are stopped by customs and must provide the correct paperwork.

Perhaps you guys should arrange for an alternative way back home from Hamm? Or alternativley get in touch with other people who are going and arrange for them to bring back whatever you buy for you.
