Twang'em into trees!
While I haven't had the morning sickness -- just the occasional moments of overwhelming nausea while I tried out new prenatal vitamins (and since finding the right one, I only experience nausea when I brush my teeth -- just like my mom!)(oh, and watching certain food commercials on TV or thinking of bananas or broccoli...absolutely lethal right now...!) -- anyway! The point is, I have been dealing with some serious exhaustion. I've tried to exercise, I still attended all of my meetings & grad classes this summer, and I've tried to keep up with the household stuff & taking care of the animals, but *oy* -- I'm still exhausted. I'm looking forward intensely to that 2nd trimester second wind that I've heard so much about! (One teacher told me that she shoveled lots of snow while another told me that she was ready to run a marathon!) So, with that, I beg of Erin/ILOVECORNSNAKES to please forgive my delay in posting these long awaited photos.
I know that this past winter I posted a thread that stated that my "factory" was then closed -- oy, did I only know that I had thrown the doors open even wider!
So, please let me introduce my seriously last three snakes from earlier this summer...well, for now.
Let's let Baby happen first, shall we?
Cortéz -- the handsome & charming brother of Michelle's gorgeous pied-sided bloodred:
Malinche -- the future mate of Cortéz, also bloodred & from Michelle, and a serious spitfire at that (I just got so tired of her constantly striking at me that I let her go at my hand today...within two nose-butts, not even real strikes, she was done, but cranky about it...unreal!):
And, Schatzi -- a cute hypo poss lavender, who could make for a future mate for my lavender poss hypo & motley, ShugaBoog (also from Michelle):
The photos aren't the best, but hey -- at least I cropped them enough so that you don't have to scroll all over to see them. :rofl: That was the *least* I could do!
(And...I know that I always have a story behind each name that I give my snakes, so if you're curious...feel free to ask.
)
Thanks! :wavey:
