Introducing Ghengis

After settling in, and laying low for a few days I brought him out to eat. I snapped a few pics while his dinner cooled. After the shoot and putting his meal into his new feeding box, he scarfed his dinner like a champ.

I had no idea the little monster would be so hard to shoot!

It was mentioned in a previous post that he could be a ultra or ultramel. These pics are a bit clearer.

He weighed in last night at 95 grams and 24" long. If my guess is correct, I think Genghis is a girl. Well based on tail shape anyways. I found someone who will probe them and is said to know what they are doing. For now though I think I have a very feminine snake with a very masculine name.

Thanks! As a confirmed non-reptile person the little guy has really won me over.

Here is his new tank, all the plants in there are live, except for one. I've got my fingers crossed that they do well while the air plants are on order.
