is it ok if the corns tank or viv is dark???? is that a good or bad thing??? i have a skylight in my room and not much light in my room.. And what is a normal corn a pet corn called in ireland i dont have a clue what they are called breeds like???? :cheers:

I don't really know what you mean by what a pet corn is called. The latin name is Pantheropis guttatus guttatus. A "normal" looking one is a Nominat. If that is what you wanted.

Why not just put a little lightbulb into the tank. Secure it with a mesh basket though. Or alternatively take a desklamp and position it above the tank.
