Hi sorry to ask this question but This is the second week in a row that george has had extremely pungent loose stools. The first couple of weeks they seemed more solid (or maybe they had dried up in the substrate by the time I got to them.) They just look and feel "odd" too for want of a better word. Kind of fleshy, kind of like intestines.

I'm just concerned, this is my first snake and I've not had him long. Hope this is okay.
Thanks.

Thanks, thats a load of my mind, excuse the pun!
I just didn't think anything that putrid could be healthy LOL.
Cheers again.

Normal..... Gross but normal.... Curious mouse or rat.... My snakes poo looks like this when I feed them Asf's or larger than normal mice.

funny you should mention that. I have used F/T Hamsters in the past and it sure made for some "messier" mess. Only feed mice now, not for that reason as the snakes did well on them,...but when my 10 year old son came across a tray full of hamsters thawing in the herp room, it did not go well! ....oops!

Hi, I feed F/T mice. The shop I buy them from sell 3 sizes of adult mice, large, extra large and Jumbo. I'm feeding Large once every 7- 10 days. He's a pretty large snake 132cm at 18months. He was being feed two fuzzies once weekly, however looked underweight. He had a very pronounced ridge running down his back.
His filling out nicely now that he is on adult mice. So I'll put the poo down to a change in diet.
Thanks all.
