Aw good on you. :) If you or anyone else wants to step in and try to get this guy (he's reportedly in Moreno Valley, CA) I can link the ad privately--just send me a PM. Or, really, come to think of it you can find it yourself if you go to the Los Angeles area Craigslist and search for corn snakes. I don't want to link the ad directly because I've learned that with rescues one must walk and speak delicately or the owner might cut off all contact and the animal doesn't get help.

Normally I wouldn't post this unless I was bringing the guy home, but I had such a knee-jerk WTF?! reaction I opted to vent. I mean, yay the guy is at least eating, but...wow. (And huh, corns will eat lunchmeat. Who knew. All those years joking my always-hungry Miami would eat a hot dog if you threw one in the tank with her might've been truer than I realized.)

Oh jeez not only that but look how underfed he is [emoji21] plus he's absolutely gorgeous. If I had room for any more I'd be tempted to drive cross country to get him
