Bobo's Mama
proud corn mommy!
I just wanted to share my first time breeding success with everyone. I picked up 1:2 mice, a nice variety, no PIW. I hate those things, they remind me of lab experiments and stuff. The male is Dove, and the two females, one is black and the other is brown Agouti. I got them around the middle of last month. I think on the 17th. I put them together and there were no fights or anything like that. They are in a rather large cage, for mice anyway, and its got lots of stuff to do and things to chew on. They are pets too I guess. I didn't really name them, but I still wanted them to be comfy so they've got a big igloo which is where the nest is, a chube tube which is just a bigger version of a toilet paper roll, a wheel and lots of wooden chewies. Anyway, I knew the Agouti was about to pop any day and tonight she did! I think she is just about done having the litter. She is very freindly and I was even able to see her give birth to one of them. The black female is also looking very plump as well. She is so vocal, alway squeaking at me or the other mice. Just wanted to share with everyone. I guess I've had better luck than poor old Mike (mdorfer), he's been trying forever. Hey buddy, I send my luck your way!
