meet WASP.........1.0 06 jungle corn (75% corn/25% king) purchased today from Brazos Valley Reptiles at the San Antonio/Live Oak Reptile Expo.now granted, i have not been in this very long or traveled the world looking for the best produced jungles to compare to, but from what i have seen via the internet and other pictures, i don't think there are many that have this intensely dark okeetee bold red with a killer yellow in between the saddles. couldn't pass up this deal, so he is now in the collection. hopefully this will be the start of adding allot more hybrids to my family as they put more character into the hobby.........imho. enjoy, and if you don't like "the other kind" then please don't reply. thanks for looking.

That is an exceptionally nice jungle. Dang, that's what I've been looking for in a jungle. I hope to make a few that nice. Do you have breeding plans?

I wish they would get their website finished. The "under construction" is really old.

i have no breeding plans for now, as this is my first so-called "fake" snake. but there will be some others upcoming in the future when the right ones are found. as mentioned before, variety and different is what i like in snakes.
i am not sure what is going on with their site.......he only had two with him yesterday and gave me the genetic rundown from grandparents to this years clutch. started of with a perfect 50/50 banded and an amel if i remember right and went from there. he is the guy that has the "Texas A&M Aggie" snake that has some of the most intense maroon colors that i have ever seen on a "true" corn. he also has a 2 yr. old "aggie" jungle this year that has a perfect "A" on the head pattern and one from the same clutch that has the longhorn colors (orange/white) with the horns "sawed-off" of the skull cow head in the head pattern. you would have to either follow college sports pretty good or live in central texas to understand the meaning. it's pretty impressive anyway.

thanks to all for your comments....... :)

Again, ronderful pick up Galen. The pictures caught the colors pretty good, but they still don't do this snake justice. he is amazing in person. Congrats.

I, for one, am disappointed.

Given that there was a "Shining Star" thread, I was fully expecting "Jungle Boogie".

Get down, get down. :grin01:

Helluva snake, btw.

regards,
jazz

looks like the meds are messing with the head. lol
thanks again paul, it is hard to show the "true" yellow on camera. you picked up quite a pair yourself, hope to see some pics of that duo.

I just noticed that. Guess Antiboitics, antihistimines, Decongestents and cough supressents do more to you than they are supposed to.

I am hoping to get pictures of them tonight. I need to get collection fed (will be the last for the adults for a while). But with me being sick with the flu, there hasn't been much of a desire to do hardly anything.

Wanna try your hand at feeding more than a hundred snakes?
