I intended on getting a corn that was a little bit older but fell in love with an (anery?) hatchling at the New York Reptile Expo today, just haaad to get him.
The guy said that the corns haven't been fed or shed(so I should wait until he does and then feed him) yet but my guy looks a bit 'flakey'? and Im wondering what that means. Did he shed and have some bits still on? Or is he turning blue and getting ready to? I've attached two pics
not really clear but I didn't want to stress him out any further so he's hiding in his tank now. In the photos you can see he's a bit dull on the underside (unless anerys are like that...) and his eye too? If you look on the lower parts of his body you can see some bits flaking off.
If he HASN'T shed yet, that would mean hes about... 8-10 days old when he does right?
