Crazy Critter Lady
Hey guys I just want to check what morph this guy is. He is progressing a little different from how I expected. These pics were just taken and he last shed on 11/08/2010. Since I am so new to corns (just under 2 years having them) I thought I would check with you guys.

Ok thanks :) That is what I figured but he doesn't seem quite right to me (probably my gimmie gimmie lots of morphs voice in my head lol). I think maybe its his hets though I have never heard of being het amel mot or stripe affecting coloring. Doesn't help the lighting is poor lol. Its pitch out so could not use natural light ;)

What might be throwing you off is the fact that normals have such a wide range of looks.

That's true, and his mom was wierd too. He inherited her brassy wash and his orange is more like a pinkish orange than the reddish orange on most normals I have seen. His saddles are a real burgandy color too and so oddly shaped :shrugs: It's ok, he's still cute!

The split belly pattern makes me want to say het diffused(blood).

Thats just one of the ways masque expresses itself. I have quite a few animals that are masque, via split belly checks or grey head, but i doubt most of them would be het BR.

I don't know about masque, thought that was linked to diffues :shrugs: I am still learning, as to being het defussed, I doubt it, his mom was a classic motley het stripe and dad was an amel no known hets.
