I spent nearly 3 years looking for one! Found him at repticon this weekend, and he is as sweet as can be. I don't like to play favorites, but he is definitely the favorite lol. The breeder is currently finding me a female for him. Maybe I'll have some babies a few years down the road

I was going to say! Pattern looks more Chinese than Taiwanese.
I have a Taiwanese (and a Cave Dweller, aka Ridley's beauty). LOVE the beauty snakes!! Yours is adorable. Looking forward to update pics as he grows!I've seen Ju-on before! Maybe on YouTube? Or here or maybe even fauna while searching for beauties lol. Beautiful snake, one day I will get a pair. I'm picking up 2 Taiwan's for sure on Thursday, I plan on breeding them. Btw, his name got changed to Decoy Octopus. Idk if there's other Metal Gear nerds here, but they would get his name haha

As a side note, does anyone know how fast these little guys grow? I couldn't find as much about their growth as I could Taiwan's, which would be 3-4 ft in their first year. I just need a good estimate for his tank size as he transitions into a sub adult

And Tais are out there, I promise!! Just keep looking... I got mine from a breeder in Oregon, but, looking at his site, it looks like he's since gotten out of them. (This was a couple years ago now.)
