King Cobra Free Handling Video

I don't think it looks easy! On Venom Interviews, it said his "partner" (whatever that is) died doing the same thing.

His partner was Luke Yeoman... RIP Luke... That death hit me and a lot of UK keepers..
Whatever the motive for doing this, it's their call... They do (did in Lukes case) so much good for snake public relations... And the sanctuary they ran does some sterling work in educating people to these magnificent animals....
They are just like you... And you are just like your work mates or family...
People talk about you.. People who don't understand why you keep a snake in your house or why you want one as a pet or why you want to handle a snake..
I wouldn't do what they do, but they have had these animals for years and thats how it is....
Luke died from Anaphylaxis I believe.. The epipen didn't work this time as other bites had left him with an allergic reaction......

I see this, and I wonder what motivates them to do that. But at the same time I know why. but really I don't see why he does it.

Wow. He looks so casual handling the cobra. I do LOVE king cobras though, I think they're sooo beautiful! If I could have any hot that was like magically guaranteed not to bite me or any of my friends/pets, I would have a king cobra!

Wow great video. Not sure on all sub species of Kings but thought they were very difficult to get onto rats. The handling was good too lol

They are cool but intimidating, only one I have seen up close and personal a friend of mine in PA had it.

I'm not criticizing his choice, Mike. There are plenty of people who think cave diving, especially decompression cave diving, is too risky and should be banned. I loved it and felt perfectly safe. You just don't break the rules and barring a freak occurrence, you're safe.

Some are, some aren't. I managed to get a few fresh WC specimens that came in for our zoo from snakes to rats in a few months. They've been on f/t rats for years now.

I wish you had come and said that, a year ago, when the Snakemaster 24 was telling everyone about Kings and the 'proper' diet...

That is an amazing video.
I told my partner that his friend died doing this... But she races dirt bikes, so she understands risk for a passion.
