Ok, My corns are ok, but, I also own some Ball Pythons and one breathes loud...like I hear it when I hold him but he is also a fatty...I feed him every few weeks ( 3rd week) to help his size deminish...is this cause for concern???

I am sorry for posting this here I didn't know where to put this topic.

I wouldn't say a respiratory infection. By loud breathing, do you mean you can hear it when they exhale? I can hear all of my bigger snakes breathe, ESPECIALLY my adult ball pythons and boas. It's not a reason to be concerned unless you can hear a "popping" sound. That's when you should worry about a respiratory infection.

Robbie hit the nail on the head with the "popping" reference.

I've got an adult butter who's had that going on for a couple months but because there's been no mucus discharge for the last month, my vet wants to see if it will clear itself up on its own. For the last week I didn't hear any popping, until I took her out this morning. :(
I was hoping she was finally all better.
