Largest Corn?

Unhealthy for your corn snake, and something I would not advise people to do.

Regards..

Any chance I can get to show of Herculues...

170 cm (few inches short of 6 feet).

He has been very very obese. He was over 3000 grams easily. But he has been on a diet for two years now. I guess he is under 2000 grams now. He stays with a friend of mine now. Jelle. He is a member on the forum here aswell. Here is an old picture showing his fat depostits on his sides:

Keep in mind that this is a very old corn (close to 15 years now) and old corns do get fat easily. When Hercules is not being fed regular he gets a bit of a feisty temper.. Not nasty.. But he just mistakes anything that moves for food ;) Well, at least was about two years ago.

Here's mine. This picture is old---from March when I first got him. He's obviously grown since then, and I think he's around 55" or so now. I'll take a better picture and measure him later.

No longer own this girl, but she was a few inches over 5 feet.

What is power-feeding?

Since no one answered your question: Power feeding is when you feed very often (every few days) or large meals to rapidly get growth on your snake. It's unhealthy and not recommended.

How often should I be feeding my lil fella? His next meal will be his very first on fuzzies. How often should he be eating?

Frazzle!!! (<~non-curse.. curse for around kids =P) I forgot to post the pic I got... its not great, but its got him and the candle in it hehe... just hope everyone knows what a lamprey tea light is =/ its not the ones you put under a tart burner.. these are for lanterns hehe.

Will try for one with something in it for size measurement tonight =)

Took Treasure to the vet (hes been in deep blue for 3 weeks ~.~) she measured him... 47 inches, mom and I have him measured at 52... so hes in between there somewhere hehe =) Honestly hes probably closer to the vets measurement... hes been pretty inactive (who wouldn't be with milky eyes for 3 weeks? =/) when mom and I measure him hes always active.

It was stated that Power-feeding is bad, which I do agree with, but I wanted to directly answer your question so you would know why it's bad.

Power-feeding is a "nicer" name for "Over-feeding", which makes you snakes grow larger, faster. It is also believed to conciderably lower your snakes life expectancy.
