Patients took over asylum
Well, my last zebra finch died this morning. Found it right before the mold professional came to explain the report. I got the apartment tested to see if mold was a problem. I knew there was mold in the bathroom and I've complained to the landlord about it. In general and among other things, this is what was found according to the report:
Stachybotrys Chartarum (http://www.mold-help.org/content/view/429/0/)
Aureobasidium Pullulans (Pullaria) (http://www.mold-help.org/content/view/427/0/)
The first is very bad and probably explains my constant headaches and being tired all the time. This is a quote from the provided link:
I'm wondering if an autopsy on the two guinea pigs, seven birds, and three snakes in my freezer would prove this. I lost many more snakes than the three in my freezer. I should have done this testing after the four pigs died (only saved two because the others were starting to bloat when I found them).
For the second, it's not really that bad it seems. Might have something to do with my sneezing. But that could also be regular old outdoor allergies (thanks to working in a flower warehouse, I'm now allergic to flowers).
So, my current goal is to find a hotel that will let me move in two dogs, two cats, five guinea pigs, five fish tanks, 26 snakes, 1 gecko, 1 tarantula, and myself for a week or so while this is fixed. And I get to yell at the landlord some more because it was paid out of pocket and I will probably be paying for the damage out of pocket as well.
Hopefully this explains why I lost so many snakes as the snake/fish/bird room was most affected. The kitchen was second. The living room was third. The bathroom fourth. And the last bedroom fifth.
Can everyone hear me screaming curses? People in Norway, can you hear me now? :headbang:

Animals injected with the toxin from this fungus exhibited the following symptoms: necrosis and hemorrhage within the brain, thymus, spleen, intestine, lung, heart, lymph node, liver, and kidney
