I know...and I'm dyin to go to Florida. I really am. Went once when I was in Jr. High...but only did the Disneyworld thing....didn't get to do any of the kinda stuff I wanted to do. *sigh* Soooomeday....

Great job Jenn. Looks like you and Trevor had a great day. That Gopher actually looks pretty big. I'm glad you saved him as he did look a little thin and probably wouldn't have made it. I wish we had animals like that here in Maine. Looks like you had fun, wish PJ and I could have been there with you guys.

Jen... great pics. I wish we could have joined you guys. That's awsome. Trevor keeps telling Lara and I about his great little day hikes finding herps. We really need to get out there one of these weekends.

We should all go together one day...yesss? That'd be fun! My sister's friend was telling me about a nice little hiking area out here in Burbank of all places (by the hills) where she's seen a few of these "black and white banded snakes"...hehehehehe. I'm gonna have to go check that area out as well!

And unless I'm magically working, I WILL be at that party...even though it's so....far...away!

That sounds awsome. I've lived in Cali most of my life and I've never seen a rattler that wasn't in a cage. I've caught plenty of other snakes but no rattlers. I'm sure Trevor is game pretty much any day he's not working. :grin01:

Jen and Trev made make me a little enivious.. I Seen a few critters in my are recently. One was a Glossy Female that recently laid some eggs, and really Po'ed Mojave, and a small sidewinder. I might have to go and snoop around tonight, between go to and fro Walmart..

Envious! Look at all the cool stuff you got to see! I love sidewinders! And it'd be great to see an angry rattler! Hehehe....I want some coiled shots! The ones we saw were just "Eh, whatever guys". Hahahahaha...

Keep in mind, my field herping pretty much stays within the car doing some road crusing.. If I ever got my fat butt out of the car and went looking, who knows what I would find.. *lol* I wish I didn't live in the place I did, and had an actual real house, I would be so tempted to invite people up from time to time.. Two bedroom, mobile does not give me much room considering all the "stuff" hanging around.. The other bad thing is that I started a different job and my hours are not really set grrr..

Wow.. that looked like a great day of herping. I actually did a field survey this weekend and boy I can honestly say I am tired. It was a really long weekend but I met some really cool people and learned alot. I was able to meet Allen Blake Sheldon, aka Blake and Jim Gerholdt. I can honestly say this weekend is going into the scrap book.
