Letting your snake outside?

Seldom do we get sunshine in Scotland, but when we do, I always take the snakes out to play! Heres a couple.

Nice pictures Tula!

I never let any of my snakes out when they were small. And never when I just acquired them. I started taking them out once I got to know them a little better. The Texas rat barely gets to go outside because he becomes wild out there. He is fast and likes to slither away up trees. I just don't want to take the risk of loosing him. He only goes out for photo sessions.
 
My two adult males are awesome outside....the female is a rescue and is a pissy booger no matter where she is. The boys though love the grass and the bushes. My only trouble so far is that they like to tangle themselves deeper into the branches closer to the middle, where it supports them better. They have a blast but they can easily get tangled. Well - more than tangled they get woven and are too stubborn to want to leave.
