hey Guys!
I am planning on getting myself a Corn snake very soon. I have a nice 20 gallon for it. I was just wondering my room is not very bright and i wanted to know if i should leave the hood light in the aquarium? if yes then for how long?

I had a heat lamp, but you can use a light to see in the viv. I would put it on the same cycle as the sun. The room doesn't have to have direct sunlight (it's probably best if it didn't) so I wouldn't worry too much unless it's really dark. Right now with the warmer temps outside here, I'm not using a heat lamp at all.

Please do us a favor and read some threads without posting, okay? I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you really need to educate yourself a bit by reading. We are all happy to help if you have questions and it doesn't get ridiculous. A "Viv" is Internet herp talk for a vivarium.

And if that isn't detailed enough it is the appperatice inwhich you hous a manor of herpataculture to, keep, breed, and raise.
LAMENS TERMS! the cage!!!!! an aquarium witha screen lid. not a cardboard box!!!! or plastic tupperware!!!!!
