Hi...newbie here....was introduced to cornsnakes through Bob's reptile rescue and fell in love with them, as well as my children did too!

I don't like jumping right into anything so this is one of my first steps in finding out how to care, purchase, all that information on cornsnakes before finally acquiring one.

Thanks for having me!
Katie

Hello and welcome to the forum. There are lots of great people on here who are willing to help you in any way that they can. Most of the breeders personal websites including ours have a section on corn snake care. A great educational resource is Bill and Kathy Love's Comprehensive Corn Snake Owners Guide.

A simple search on here should be able to answer the basic questions. Here is a good thread under the husbandry and basic care thread to get you started: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28341

There are many of us on here who will be happy to help you acquire a new snake :) You are looking at a good time - it is hatchling season.

Welcome to the forum, Buzzard pretty much summed it up.. There are amazing people and animals on here. I would recommend you buying a corn snake from one of the breeders on here ( whenever your ready to purchase your new snake) and not your local pet store since they don't know what they're talking about 90% of the time. The breeders on here are great people and they have amazing animals to choose from. Just like buzzard said its a good time to be looking since its hatchling season.. And don't forget we love pics here so once you get your new baby please post some pics..

Personally I think these are the Best matches
