Lordy be....DU hell...

Once again, great shots of a stunning snake. I absolutely love her and never get tired of seeing her photo sessions. Thank you!

Thanks much all!
I love being able to people some up close and personal shots of these beautiful snakes. Makes it all worth it.

I guess macro pics are out of the question LOL. Awesome photography. I agree, pic #7 is a great shot, but IMO, they all are. Thanks for sharing

Gorgous snake! She is absolutely beautiful..my fav pic is definitely the last 2..

How did you manage to get so close for those pics? I'm guessing you were behind some kind of protective glass or something..

Also is that a mongol cobra? (Though they are my fav. Venomous snake, I'm not that good with identifying the types...lol..

And as far as the idea of david getting a cobra..I sincerely hope he has a little bit more common sense then that..

Thanks much guys!

The lens of the camera was only about 10" away on some of them....but yeah that's about as close as you are going to get...LOL

I guess I was pretty vague about the new setup..LOL Basically I built another "Trap Bucket" lined it, lighted it. and also cut a hole in the side just big enough for the camera lens to fit into which alllowed for no distortion on the picture, but still kept me protected.

She is an Albino Monocle Cobra, you can always tell the Monocles because they are the only one with the single "eye" on the back of the hood.

Thank you for describing the setup you used :)..

Lol..I meant to say monocle in my last post but I think I said mongol...lol..man I can sound so novice at times..but then again..what better way to learn then to be corrected :)

Have you thought about investing in a "bite shield" for the camera to allow you to get some closer macro shots? It's basically just a plastic bowl with a hole cut in it for the lens that lets you keep your hands protected while still getting some very close shots.

No problem at all!

Bite Shield:
Interesting....you know I could probably make something like that, though it would have to be pretty wide....Cobras are pretty quick, and find thier way around things pretty quickly.
