Lost snake

I'm really sorry to hear about Dolly. :( I lost my little guy, Preztel, this August so I know how you feel. My prayers are there for you and your little one.

Thanks so much. To our scaley babies -raises fictional toast- I just worry he won't survive winter... The thought terrifies me.

I know. Not knowing how they are, where they are, and not being able to take care of them is so hard. I still hope for a miracle.

Me too. Every day. I just read in my corn book that it's not unheard of for one to survive a UK winter and be found in spring. I'm praying for it. (I have a feeling you're not in the UK, though)

No I'm in the US and I hope he may be brumating in the basement or other cooler part of the house. Short of that, I'm hoping for a mild winter.

While not replacements, I now have Cleo my corn and Clyde my housie, so I have other precious scale babies to love and care for. If Dolly hadn't escaped I wouldn't have them, so who knows what the greater plan is in all of this?

I do hope both of our little snakes turn up.

I hope he is in that basement safe. Poor little guy.

I know what you mean about non-replacement snakes, I just miss having one. Maybe he'll come home and I'll have two.

Fingers crossed for our two and for your mind winter. Are they usually bad?

Thanks. The winters vary. The last two were nasty.
