Ok...I´m not sure tha lower course is the right word but i will try...

what kind of lower course do you think is the best for a cornsnake?..or what kind do you use?

yeah it`s the stuff in the bottom of the cage I´m talking about..:D
what about you corncrazy..what do you think is the best stuff in the bottom af cage to use?..or what do you use?

Here in America, the stuff in the bottom of the cage is called bedding or substrate.

As for what I use...I used to use aspen, but have recently switched to paper towels. I have found that aspen can be quite dusty, and I felt that it wasn't good for my snakes to breathe in the dust. The only disadvantage of using paper towels is that I can't sopt clean anymore.

The main type you need to stay away from using is any kind of aromatic wood (like cedar).
