Had the snakes out adding more holes to their tubs, and Lydia is going into brumation....so took some pics.

First up, Lydia's pre-brumation pics....She is such a little lady :)

Next we have Jaegar, the wild-caught normal...first time he's shed since I got him. He's a bit skinny for his size...but I will fix that.

I'm starting to get an idea of their personalities with these w/c's...Jaegar, for instance, thinks he's a water snake! Every time I open his tub, he's swimming...I thought it was because he was shedding, but now that he's shed, he still does it. It's so cute, he swims around in circles with his head underwater

Didn't have much luck getting a good ventral, but you get the idea...

Next up is Tayki, she hasn't shed yet, I think she is about to soon....she was really blue the other day. I can't wait til she does....she'll be so pretty. She's turned out to be a real sweetheart too. She curled up in my lap last night and watched TV with me. She really likes to dig...she is constantly trying to find somewhere to push her nose into something.

And then Clementine...who is really ugly in blue! LOL Can't wait until she sheds either. :flames:

What did you do to Clementine??? (I know, she's blue!)

When I got Choco, he'd do that swimming thing, going around and around under water, and he did it for weeks, but then gradually stopped. People told me to check him for mites, but he didn't have any. I think it was just a novelty- he hadn't had a dish big enough to really swim in before.

I can't watch TV without a snake.

I can't watch TV without a German Shepherd....mostly because he's so spoiled, he needs attention constantly...not necessarily because I WANT a 76 pound dog on my lap! :)

Steve likes to swim too. Only problem is, he thinks he needs to use his water "bin" as a toilet! (it's a bin because he's so huge, he kept overflowing everything else when he took a swim) I am constantly scrubbing it clean because he just pooped in it....and then as soon as he realizes it's clean, he poops in it again! :grin01:

Seems like a lot of reptiles are like that. Maizey does it, my boxie does it, the torts do it- the birds do it- (probably by accident!) and the one time Mr. Toad did it, it was one of the most foul smelling things ever. Easy to clean- look at it that way!

I'm glad lydia went to a good home =) and her name rocks. So I'm glad the BF sold her to a fellow Nevermore fan!

Nevermore kicks ass! That's one of my fave songs by them, and the only one I could really think of that could be a name. I suppose this is :-offtopic so I PMed you :)

Not really, I'd rather scoop up a dried up turd than a big tub of water which makes the stink worse :puke01: But I must comply with Steve's wishes...

Snake poo is still the most repulsive poo I've experienced, although I've never had a toad. :shrugs:

I think the worst is a laying hen that's been on the nest all night saving it up...

Yes, Jaegar, Tayki, and Clementine are w/c. Clem and Jaegar are both from West Palm Beach, Florida, I'll probably pair them together (OR, two other options I've thought of...one, find another really red normal male or do a bloodred project with her). Tayki is from Miami, and I have another male Miami that she will be paired with.

Here's Clementine in a pic from the guy I got them from....she hasn't shed for me yet...can't wait...
