These better? Taken just now with my phone in natural light.

Those, to me, looks more like charcoal eyes. To make matters worse the idea now is that charcoal masks anery so if you have a charcoal anery it would mess everything up.
You said something about a breeding that produced aneries, who was the mate and what were the results?
I was talking about the pics on the bottom of page 1, the first pic (full body) looks like charcoal eyes but the last pic the eyes are lighter so I was thinking anery.:shrugs:
Breeding trials will help
John

His mate was supposed to be a normal het blizzard motley. We got normals, amels, super dark anery-y guys, and a snow. So who isn't in possession of charcoal here? Lol.

Darcy, smack me if you want me to keep my mouth shut!

John, the female is one of my snakes. She is a Normal het Amel Charcoal Motley...the Amel and Motley hets have been proven, but not the Charcoal. Apparently she is het Anery also. Hatchlings consisted of...
10 Normal
5 Anery
4 Amel
1 Snow

Is that correct Darcy?

Yep. So i know Char is het amel. He is not het motley or stripe. Anery is in there... Is Lilith not het charcoal?!? Or is Char the weirdest Anery ever?

Come on guys! Help! Lol he was sold as a charcoal motley. He is not even het motley. So is the charcoal part wrong too?

I think he's a charcoal. No yellow that I can see, and the eye pictures look like Icabod's eyes (charcoal from PJ & Jay). He could be het anery, which would give the results of the clutch, or some of what looks like anery hatchlings are really charcoal hatchlings, or even anery + charcoal hatchlings. I plan to breed anery charcoals on purpose, and I am already worried about how to sort the little buggers as they will all be gray. Anery het charcoal, charcoal het anery, anery, charcoal, anery-charcoal, gray, gray, gray, 5 different genotypes of gray hatchlings.... I suspect if you want to know what the gray ones are you will have to grow them up a bit & see.
