Cannot find much information on this. Some say the hatchings (pictures in breeding section labeled day 74) have this trait. Mom is bloodred and dad is normal cubed. Is this a common trait?

It's very common with bloodreds/diffused and used to be thought of as a sign of being 'het' for diffused when seen in non-homozygous diffused animals.

I used to have a charcoal masque that was NOT het diffused however.
