Mexican Black King aggression?

Hello, my friend has a MBK that is very aggressive. This animal use to be handleable, but now hisses and strikes at everything, and tries to destroy your hands when you go to pick him up. My friend only has two snakes, and both are taken care of like they were her children. She came to me because I have been into breeding reptiles for some time and have owned a pretty good variety of animals. Her care of him is perfect, plenty of hides, branches and "toys", everyday clean water, fed bi-weekly and perfect temps. This little brat is spoiled, but I have never seen such a drastic change in behavior. Does anyone know much about kings? They are not a species I am very familiar with and have only owned a king/corn hybrid before that is a little snappy at times but otherwise easily handled.

I have a little female MBK and she is just as well tempered as any of the corns, she does open her cloaca and might musk a little if she is startled but she is only a year old. I think it might just depend on the snake. Maybe the male is in the mode of fining a mate still and is acting aggressive.

I have an adult MBK male that has been pretty eaasy to handle. It wasn't until recently that he has been kind of feisty.
I think he's mad that he only got two DIE hatchlings this year. I could tell that he can smell them, & the breeder he came from had a higher number of clutches, so he got more DIE babies.
