Miami?

Wyldrose

Addicted to corns!
I got this girl 13 months ago and I am sure I posted asking if she was a miami back then but everyone said not a miami influenced normal. The yellowish that she had on her head and between the first few saddles has faded and now she looks very silver and red.

Sure, I would certainly say that is worthy of being called a Miami phase corn.

That's a beauty too, Dave!

The fact that you know the differences between the two is a good thing :)

cheers, ~Doug

Thanks Doug!

The saddle count would have given it away as a baseline cinder out-cross. & the red is too red to be a Miami. He is part of a long-term locality X this X that thing/project/breeding program/whatever-you-call-that, which has been floating around in my messy mind, with a long-range goal of getting to a super dark+glossy background/base colored "classic" without using any anery influence in the mix.

Ah, I see. Then that would actually be a goal of no out-crossed melanism/hypermelanism influence being introduced then, wouldn't it? :poke:

They are all beautiful :) Naos came for the cricket run yesterday. I usually bring something with me to the petshop :) I do have a zoo here. One other customer held her and took lots of pictures to show his daughter.

I should work on a candy cane project with her :) Love them too. Maybe I can find a male candy cane at a show and work with that. I have lots of time.
