Lexcorn
Dreamcatcher
GiantBlueberry Lexcorn, thankyou.
You are welcome Jessica.
GiantBlueberry I was slowly beginning to fear that I would no doubt have a 5+ foot monster on my hands when he was full grown.
Yes, I too would have believed that if I did not handle the animal sufficiently then by maturity both he/she & I would be quite unfamiliar with one another. However, I had the fortune of purchasing a pair of sub-adult Hypomelanistic Hondos. at the same time as a Ghost hatchling.
The sub-adults were a little 'twitchy' because of a change of environment, however, they became quite relaxed over a short period of time.
You state that he does musk & 'latch on' occasionally...........hmmm, again it may be that he is sensing your own tense feelings & he too feels unsafe.
Thus, if you become a little less anxious over your animal, your more 'chilled' attitude will be sensed by your Honduran & behavioural changes will evolve.
Good luck & most of all enjoy (if only from afar at present) the species!
