More Yosemite pics! ;-)

Down with the sickness
First up, Yosemite Falls.
# 1. A "far away" shot.
# 2. A "far away" shot of just the Upper part of the falls.
# 3. A beautiful pic taken on the path leading to the base of the falls.
# 4. Is for size comprehension. It is the same pic as # 3 but zoomed in.
# 5. Is of the full sized tree that is inside of the blue square in # 4, can you find it in picture # 3?

# 1. Goes with the others above it is the base of Yosemite Falls.
# 2-5. Are all of Bridalveil Falls starting at the base and going up. By pic # 4, we could not keep the lens dry with all the mist blowing in the air.
Being at the base of Yosemite Falls made your hair blow completely vertical. The base of Bridalveil got us completely wet. There was so much water from our record rain/snow fall this year that the concrete path to the base had turned into a make shift river. There was a good 2 inches of water flowing down the entire width of the path near the top.

# 1. A random snowy peak pic
# 2. I had to show Cascade Falls again
# 3. This is Cascade Falls again taken from the same spot as # 2 but looking down on the falls below instead of looking above. It was really cool because this was the spot where it merged with another water fall (Tamerack Creek ??). You can kind of see how they are merging.
# 4. The whole crew. ;-) I'm not smiling because I was the only one without sunglasses or a hat so the sun was in my eyes.
# 5. My sister in law being silly. Our friend and myself were not so "perky" at that point. I'm a bit red in the face after having some asthma issues.

Wow such beautiful pictures! And now I can also put a face w/ your name!! I'm glad you explained the reason for your expressions in those pictures...otherwise I would have thought you look like a grouchy person! hahahahaha. No, I know better from our on-line conversations. :)

Wow!

Fantastic pictures! Thank you very much for sharing! Today I sit here and wonder what places I will take my little one someday. But for now, I'm trying to master feeding an 18 month old. She'd rather throw the food on her plate rather than eat it...good grief...then of course she grumps cause she claims she's still hungry...note to self, give baby food, one bite at a time...any extra she'll just throw! LOL!

Anyhow, fantastic pictures! Love waterfalls!

Hey Carol <smile>...great pics ! BTW...that lack of smile excuse...weak;)

Hope you're doing well, it's been TOO long since I've been around. All the '04's I got from you last year are doing well...the male and female triple het normals are beasts..lol ! Their growth and appetites are far outstripping most of my other yearlings.

Take care...Mike

P.S. Our Baby Girl is doing great, 8 weeks now and she's developing a smile herself. Warms my heart when she gives me a grin !

*GRONK* :dancer:

So glad to hear from you! I'm glad to hear you and yours are doing well. Maybe soon you'll grace us with some pics of the new little miss!

Ya, about that smile, I guess I'm just a cranky old pessimist. :)
