Morelia spilota Mcdowelli (Carpet python)

Your right about the elevation/perch needed for them..... But your wrong about the humidity.... They need a spray to help them shed but they can live at room humidity (UK).
And they are very hardy to temp changes.... They go through a vast temp gradient day to night in the wild.....
Torsten if you want any morphs pm me...... I have a few for sale,,, jungle/jags...Jungle/jag sibs..... Diamond x jungles... Diamond jungle/jag..... And a very nice pure jungle.....

"room humidity" is quite different from one place to another.
As per their habitat- they dwell in more tropical surroundings than Corns. So I don't think they share the same optimal humidity level requirement. It is in my belief that they will dehydrate a deal faster than corns.

I don't keep my carpets any different to my corns or my pine (except the size of food and the perch). They do not require any special levels of humidity. They shed complete every time and never look to be dehydrated. I always have enough fresh water in the vivs and thats about it...... Except I use a ceramics instead of UTH.... And some of them grow slower so you DO NOT follow the munson plan....

She has finally fed!!!!she has never eaten for me but has finally eaten a chick head and a chick drumstick this evening!!!!!!!!!! :D she has not eaten since before September!!

PS. you mention a pure jungle in one of your earlier posts Mike, do you still have it? Could you Pm the prices of the diamond crosses please? Do you have any pure diamonds?

Thanks

The pure jungle went. (It was wolfbiod out of Paul Harris) We are hoping for more this year.
PM on it's way for the Diamondx (The last one left)
And the Diamond is a nagatory... LOL
Now your guy is feeing it should go from strength to strength, in my experience.
It's that first feed , on the stubborn ones. Now it knows it's mouth is for feeding not biting... LOL

Thanks Mike, any chance of pictures of your jungles by pm and prices for 09s?

Hopefully she should grow away now!!

I can't tempt fate and post prices for something that may not exist, yet.
As soon as I have something for sale, ie. feeding and shedding and generally being a good little snake, I'll pm you straight away.
You want pics of the breeders?
